External Awards
ACS Award in Industrial Chemistry for outstanding contributions to chemical research in the industrial context.
Akzo Chemicals, Inc. sponsored the award through 2000, and ACS financed the award in 2001 and 2002. The award was supported by BMGT from 2003–2013, in partnership with SOCMA from 2007–2010 and in partnership with the Division of Industrial & Engineering Chemistry (I&EC) from 2011–2013. Starting in 2015, I&EC has been the sole sponsor of this award. Although we no longer administer this award, we encourage BMGT members to nominate colleagues!
